Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Growth – France and DACH (Remote)
About Translated
Translated is an AI-enabled language services company on a mission to allow everyone to understand and be understood in their own language.
We combine Lara, our AI translation model, with a network of more than 700,000 vetted professional translators, matched to every job by T-Rank and orchestrated through TranslationOS, our AI-first localization delivery platform. This symbiosis of artificial intelligence and human expertise lets us design localization programmes that were previously unthinkable, helping more than 360,000 clients grow their business worldwide.
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join Translated's Enterprise Growth team and accelerate our growth in your market. You will own new business across a named list of enterprise accounts in travel and luxury, e-commerce and automotive, building on the customers, references and pipeline Translated already has.
You will sell an AI-first way of working with language: routing each piece of content to the right mix of AI and human expertise, measuring quality objectively, and helping global companies reduce time and cost without compromising brand voice or compliance. You will work with localization, digital and procurement leaders as a trusted advisor, not as a vendor.
We are offering a full-time remote role for an employee based in France or the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with regular travel in your market and to Rome.
Responsibilities
- Own new business in your territory, with a personal annual net-new target, from first contact to signed contract.
- Build and run account plans for a named list of enterprise targets.
- Generate your own pipeline through outbound, events, referrals and partnerships with consulting firms and technology partners.
- Lead consultative sales cycles: discovery, content and cost assessments, AI pilots, business cases, negotiation and closing.
- Run RFPs, RFIs and supplier onboarding with large procurement teams, including framework agreements and security reviews.
- Work with our solutions, operations and account management teams to design proposals that protect margin.
- Hand new customers over smoothly to Account Management and stay involved in their first expansion.
Requirements
- A consultative seller who is genuinely curious about AI and can explain AI translation, human-in-the-loop workflows and quality measurement to both localization and procurement leaders.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding quota, including enterprise deals above €250k closed as the lead seller.
- Trained in and using a structured sales methodology (for example MEDDICC, Challenger or Miller Heiman).
- Confident presenting to buying groups and senior executives, and running workshops with customer teams.
- A self-starter with a pursuit mentality and the energy to grow a territory, not just manage one.
- Creative and resourceful: you look for new ways to open doors and get things done.
- Knowledge of translation management systems, machine translation or LLM-based tools is a plus, as is experience with software localization, multilingual publishing or regulated content.
- Languages: native French, German, or Italian, fluent English.
Required Experience
- 6+ years of experience in a similar sales role in the translation & localization industry, and prior experience with the full life cycle of a sales process.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a growing environment
- Experience selling to multinational companies through procurement-led buying processes.
- Bachelor's degree or above, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in a remote, international team.
- A valid passport for international travel.

Application Process
We will conduct an initial screening based on the information you provide about yourself and your experience. Candidates whose profiles align with the job requirements will be contacted for an initial introductory call. Successful candidates will then be invited to an interview to discuss their experience.
If everything goes well, we will make you an offer to join our team.
